The Research School:
- maintains a network for research and research related education in Medieval Studies;
- offers interuniversity education for doctoral, as well as graduate students, in rapport with the Graduate Schools of the participating Faculties;
- furthers and supports national and international cooperation in research, as associations within the discipline, aiming to create focus and mass and to create a distinct profile for the field;
- stimulates Flemish-Dutch cooperation.
In addition the School usually holds a number of ad hoc Master Classes, depending on the availability of interesting ‘Masters’ to teach them.
