Assistant Professor in Late Antique or Early Medieval History – Alabama
The Department of History of the University of Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Late Antique or Early Medieval history. The successful candidate will be expected to teach the first half of the department’s Western Civilization survey, as well as upper-level and graduate courses in his/her area of specialty. The Department and University emphasize excellence in teaching as well as scholarship. Normal teaching load is two courses per semester. Ph.D. must be in hand by time of appointment.
